Welcome to our Blog: Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone! May this be a healthy, happy and prosperous year for everyone. <3

This is our very first blog post. We wanted you to get to know us better and take you along on our beautiful journey of Sudanese food and culture. We hope that we can inspire entrepreneurs, dreamers and foodies alike to pursue their passions in line with their purpose.  On January 4th, 2019, SAMOSA NYC has crossed the 10 month mark. Our baby is 10 month old, Mabrook! We have learned a whole lot during this time and are excited for 2019.

Madebyhandsmarkets was our first market <3. The founder Mrs. Monifa Kincaid was very supportive.

Church Avenue Street Fair 2018. We were very excited to have a market in our local community.

AfropolitanNYC’s monthy event was very fun for us as vendors. Great energy, music and people.

We wanted to thank everyone, from our very first Market (Madebyhandmarkets) to our last event of the season in November at the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of New York City’s (5th Night Market fundraiser), for supporting us, encouraging us and especially our customers for tasting our food. For 2019 we have a variety of interactive events, more markets as well as new products in store. Stay tuned!

Our blog posts will be on a weekly basis, telling our story of the rewards and challenges we encountered in the first 10 months and introducing our followers to Sudanese cuisine, culture and customs. Come along with us on this journey!
